New year huh. how fast this year finished like a blink of eye.but thank god I started watching one piece last year and I had the opportunity to spend this year 2022 with a lot of joy and also waiting for luffy to beat Kaido once and for all. 😎😁

Full time = 8 hours a day
I have a horrible memory and I like to watch shows from start to finish all at once. I tend to lose interest in anything that updates once a week, so I usually wait until the season is over to watch it.

Heaven forbid you have to wait for something...

it took me about 4 months to watch it all, taking breaks to sleep and go to work, I watched all the filler episodes but I also was playing the episodes at 1.5x speed.

I think playing it fast would give me anxiety. Also I wouldn't be working, so this would be a deliberate time waster.

Just be ready to watch as the story progression speed diminishes in direct proportion to the increase in animation quality.

First they are obviously not working at it's limit just in time, because every person in charge should get fired for that. They work with more capacity and in advance. Anything else is garbage management.

I am not sure if I should laugh about the simplicity of those thoughts or if I should cry. But well, so many people obviously has no sense for management... xD Amazing.

The reason for such move is due to the fact that this vacation and festivity time and people do less likely watch it. Thus they create a filler to serve their contract here. Cause per contract it does not care WHAT you show but THAT you show something. New years break is obvious, there is not TV slot.

That is how it's done. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with Toei making vacation or anything. I mean, do you really think they were doing ANYTHING at that day? Even voice acting? xD Cmon...

For the voice acting it's important they scenes are already drawns and a recording session has a lot of episodes covered. Anything is would be ridicously expensive. Recording without screen material would not be in sync. So ANY episode you see was drawn and voiced weeks and month ago. xD

I cannot believe you guys really thought they take a break at that time and therefore there is a recap. Do you think they are magicians that flips their fingers and then its done and about to be send per mail to the tv station? How did you even considered this timing?

Ok, I laughed enough, everyone can fail. But all of you have to admit THIS was an epic brain fart. xD

You should watch the south park documentary. (They don't do it like this anymore.) But the episodes are actually made the week they premiere.

Anime doesn't work like that, but the idea isn't unfounded. And by the way, you can educate people without sounding like a massive condescending A-hole.

Just that South Park was (and in someway still is) a super cheap production and you cannot really compare that, just because it's video stuff.

I don't mind laughing about people doing and talking stupid stuff. If I do stupid stuff, I have do endure being laughed too. If you cannot endure that level of criticism, uh, life might be difficult. :D But the bigger the bullshit you talk, the bigger the laugh you have to endure. That's how it works.

If people get angry about that, they the next lesson should be, how to get on a good level of self reflection and self criticism. So in the end only the idiot who cannot accept his own flaws will rage about such a thing and remain stucked in place. The wise man will laugh and go on.

So keep it as multilayered education. :D

I called it we will see gear 5 in March at this pace...Robin is HOOOOOOTTTT

To be honest I think we will see gear 5 in the middle of summer. I don't think 10-12 episodes are enough to finish this

hmmm there are still many stuff and we will see zoro/sanji/luffy/kid/law fight and then cp0 stuff..... kaido going down after defeating luffy again and then luffy's awakening (+a few side stuf forochi and momo/yamato and a king flashback) i'd say at least 20 episodes maybe 25 till we see gear 5

while he failed the method but lucked a result matching your guess... lol

yep march has come and gone looks like sanji found his 5th gear before luffy did lol

Gotta love how Nami take care of Kalifa back in Enies Lobby, and now Nico Robin against Black Maria, both which Sanji can't fight against

This sounds like a massive spoiler man. I think I heard <nika> somewhere before in the anime about a few episodes back with Jinbei's fights but there was no way I was going to associate <luffy> with it. If you're a manga reader and made that connection off of manga information then man, add a spoiler tag before u ruin it for other anime watcher like me. So tragic. I had Kaido's dragon form spoiled for me and it was so sad. His first very intro was so insane and instantly made him a fav villain. Then when his dragon form came, I got goosebumps but knew it would've been more insane had I not known he turned into a dragon v.v but yeah, no one likes a spoiled sport.

Migh want to put that spoiler tag but yeah

Yeah... But when she was getting pummeled by Black Maria , it was kinda dumb.
She could have easily canceled her powers instead of getting beat up like that

Black Maria quite literally brought out the demon inside her. Seeing Robin getting beat up is hard to watch, but seeing Robin in her Demonio Fleur was pretty satisfying also. Hoping for more fights to come for our one and only Demon Child.

Yeah tbh this episode was a really good showcase for Robin. We never saw the full extent of her strengh since the timeskip but now that we saw her demonic form I was really impressed.

I also love the fact she won the fight with a submission move rather than the usual punch (or in Robin's case slap). So it was a really neat change.
